PHBT received a letter of
intent for up to USD1.5 million in financing from the Export-Import Bank of the
United States, Washington, D.C. to support its intended St. John's, Antigua
Project. PHBT intends to ship its equipment and products to Antigua, to help
relieve the country's perpetual shortage of potable water.

PHBT's ready to use Point-of-Entry systems takes
over where municipal water filtration stops.

Here in the US, most Americans take clean, safe
drinking water for granted. But the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC)
says we should not. Almost 7 million Americans a year become sick from
contaminated tap water, which can also be lethal.
Many cities still use water delivery systems and
treatment technology pre-dating World War 1. Aging pipes break, leach
contaminants into the water and breed disease-causing waterborne microorganisms
including bacteria, viruses and protozoa cysts. This old fashioned treatment
generally fails to remove 21st-century contaminants.

PHBT's system uses
pre-and-post absolute carbon filtration with direct crystal iodine contact for
disinfection. It does not release detectable residual halogen into the
disinfected water supplies. The system has demonstrated laboratory effective
kill rates to a level of log 8 against microbial agents. Iodine-based
technology, used by PHBT, gained acceptance by the
EPA, U.S. Public Health
Service, Harvard Medical School, U.S. Armed Forces Medical Teams, U.S.
Department of Agriculture, U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service and NASA.

Water Filtration
Market

The industrial water
filtration market is estimated at USD35 billion, and growing 8percent annually. The U.S.
household water filtration market is USD500 million and growing 10percent annually.
Existing technologies
use carbon block filters, reducing microbial contamination,
but can't account for the wide array of microorganism diameter depending on
their lifecycle. PHBT's multi-stage system, using absolute micron carbon pre and
post filters with controlled release USP iodine, is designed to treat the
bacterial pathogens often missed by the two well known home systems. At least
12percent of US households treat their drinking water. By 2010, that number is
expected to increase to 40percent, demonstrating PHBT's market potential as the demand
for high purity water rises rapidly.
